After a few moments, her eyes take a faraway look and a small, childlike smile. "Do you think we could catch a cloud? I've always wanted to keep one in a jar," Death said absentmindedly.

At Daniel's greeting, she let her eyes slip open and she turned to glance at him over her shoulder. Her smile grew when he got distracted by the view she'd been admiring just a moment ago. "I can safely say, in all my years, that I've never seen anything like this." And it was true. She'd never been on a floating city in the sky before.
"You can call me 'Didi'," Death greeted him, her hand lifting to grasp his, giving it a firm shake. "It's lovely, isn't it? You wouldn't expect to be able to go out this far. I was expecting a high wall of some sort. But I like this."

He turned his attention to the view and looked out. "I don't really know what I was expecting, but it certainly wasn't this beautiful. I'm sorry, but do I know you from somewhere?" He rushed the question into his statement. Daniel couldn't shake the feeling that he knew this woman, though he couldn't place where. "I'm having an incredible sense of deja vu, or something like it."

She looked back out to the view, still smiling. When he asked her if she knew him, she turned back to look at Daniel, giving a slight shrug of her shoulders. "I get that a lot. I must just have one of those faces."
