My campus had its Christmas party yesterday. I completely forgot about it, didn't bring anything for the potluck or anything for the white elephant gift exchange, but that wasn't a problem. There was an insane surplus of food. And a couple people gave me their white elephants, because they didn't want to lug them home. So I got a Kenneth Cole watch

Have you tried ABEbooks.com? Used books on Amazon can often be way overpriced. They can be overpriced on ABE, too, but at least it's a second option.
