Was Borat funny, or annoying?

I'm still sort of processing Borat. Parts of it are hilarious, but there were other parts where I couldn't bear to watch it. I was too horrified, it's amazing Sascha Cohen didn't get murdered. It's very much an Offense-O-Rama kind of thing, which I know isn't your thing, but then again the targets are almost entirely loony right-wingers, so maybe it would be your thing.

Mostly, I'm just impressed by Cohen's basketball-sized balls. I don't understand how anyone could've pulled off the stuff he pulls off and be so straight-faced about it. Cheb, Cajones and I all said we hope there's a making of documentary on the DVD. I have to know how he avoided arrest, if nothing else.
