Weird Moment of the Day

I just read an old Silver Age Superman story in which he gets amnesia and forgets he's Clark Kent. So he disguises himself as an incredibly stereotypical Englishman (tweed suit, monocle, meershaum pipe) named Clarence Kelvin.

Silver Age Superman stories. They're really hard to describe sometimes.

Is it as good as the Fantastic Four story where Namor decides to kill the FF by buying a movie studio, hiring them to be in a film, then killing them while they're doing their scenes?

That was awesome.

I love how conflicted Sue Storm is in the early issues about Namor. Sure, he's tried to kill her teammates numerous times, but he's always been a perfect gentleman, and he's just so dreamy.

The logic is comparable. Not in that specific story so much as in other ones in the compilation I've been reading. Silve Age Superman storis us a logic that is conviluted and psychologically spurious in a way that I can only marvel at.

Unlike others, I don't have a comic as dorky to compare this to. Maybe i'm just a sucker for English dandies, but this post just made my day, Monsieur LeChien.
