When you get right down to it, I don't have a lot of people I can talk to about stuff that's bugging me. Both the silly stuff, the more intense existential angst sorts of things, and the stuff about which I really should be talking to a therapist. Not many people I know understand me, and the ones that do are too busy or have too many other priorities (extremely understandable and valid priorities, I must point out.) Throwing this blather out into the bitstream is really the only means of communication and support I've got. Honestly, I think you have a lot more understanding friends than I think you think you do. Part of it is frustrated performer stuff. I want an audience for what I write. But there is written diary type stuff that shouldn't have an audience. Hmmm.
