to speak the truth, no, I haven't seen the Incredibles yet. And I likely won't until next month. Because I am wicked busy. But I still enjoy reading what you have to say, even then. So there.

When you get right down to it, I don't have a lot of people I can talk to about stuff that's bugging me. Both the silly stuff, the more intense existential angst sorts of things, and the stuff about which I really should be talking to a therapist. Not many people I know understand me, and the ones that do are too busy or have too many other priorities (extremely understandable and valid priorities, I must point out.) Throwing this blather out into the bitstream is really the only means of communication and support I've got.
Honestly, I think you have a lot more understanding friends than I think you think you do. A lot of people like you a whole lot, and would be more than willing to listen and be supportive. It's part of what friends do ( ... )

I always forget about the private post thing. It struck me as kind of pointless, but it isn't, is it?

Part of it is frustrated performer stuff. I want an audience for what I write. But there is written diary type stuff that shouldn't have an audience. Hmmm.

Long before I knew you as El Dogo, I knew you as a member of a certain geeky comedy troupe. You always made me laugh. You're a good comic performer. It's your stuff on the CD that I quote the most. And whenever I saw you at Con or various geek functions, I'd point you out to people - "It's him ( ... )

Geohard has seen it 3x's and I've seen it twice.
Write LJ for yourself and you will be OK, whatever you say.

You've talked about the ad copy you were supposed to be writing; why not do it here?

I've seen your comedy stuff (got the Soylent Green CD, too!), I like to see what other kind of writing you do.
