People who engage in Bondage Discipline Dominance Submission Sadism Masochism Magic Body (BDSM) generally have more fun, with no statistically significant downside. At least according to telephone self-report of Australians 16-59.
I often wonder if the majority of people kinda think they're enjoying sex because that's what they're supposed to do but really don't like it nearly as much as they believe they do.
Then, of course, I wonder if I am one of those people.
From there, I naturally imagine large numbers of people I know having strings of unsatisfying hook-ups or spending large amounts of time sleeping on the couch because they aren't having relations.
At the end of it all, I think not having lots of really good sex must surely be what's wrong with the world.
Interesting. I suspect that a lot of people would like a lot of things they wouldn't otherwise know they'd like if they tried them instead of being afraid it was too weird (but have no evidence to back this up, other than circumstantial.)
Was it a semi-sausage fest?danadarkoApril 23 2009, 14:25:29 UTC
"2.2% of men, 1.3% of women"
Do you think that gender ratio was represented at The Castle? Was more of the crowd, 67% of the crowd, male? Or is that gender skew just an Aussie thing.
I wouldn't want to generalize to a population not represented by my sample. They (the science police) would take my scientist card and rip it up in my face.

I saw a lot of women and ppl of indeterminate gender. I suspect that the gothicness of the Castle crow is an artifact. They are overlapping crowds, goth and fetish, but not the same crowd, after all. I can't say anything more definite for I also fear of the science police taking away my license to science. lol
