Compared to last night, today was great. I played some basketball with Jack, and Geoff, and Patrick, and Skye, and Cameron. I used up all my shot skills in the first game, but it was still fun

I felt like such a shmuck at Olive Garden when they had free pasta. I ate my whole bowl just so I could get a second to take home. And I wanted extra breadsticks of course. The problem was that the first portion is twice the size of the second, which means I needlessly filled up on the first portion. And the waitress totally knew what I was doing with eating a bunch of breadsticks so I could ask for more to take home. I didn't even touch my extra pasta or breadsticks since I was taking them home, but I pretended to so no one would see what I was doing. She knew what I was up to.

When one gets to the basics, pasta is a bowl of noodles and breadsticks are flour with herbs. They probably buy noodles and flour in mass bulk and they're making money unless one eats a dozen bowls of pasta.

stuff that makes you happy doesn't have to be amazing. why, today i'm excited about going to the grocery store!
