Most AUs have non-eupahmistic happy endings. Predictability can be nice!

Fanfic observation of the day: Merlin fandom is chock-full of long and plotty AUs. This is BRILLIANT, as I’ve seen enough of the show to understand the characters more-or-less. \o/

(And what I don't know, I dreg up from my faint memories of the Arthurian myths.)

Are you reading Merlin now? I'd like to get back into Merlin, but all of my old reliable reccers have moved on to other fandoms :(

Sort of? Mostly I'm just craving a certain kind of fic, and I'm running out in the fandoms I know? So I'm wading into the fandoms I sort-of know. (And I saw recs from people whose taste I like.) I still wouldn't consider me a fan, especially considering I'll only read AUs.

Also, being that I've just started, I'm probably only finding stuff you've seen looooong ago. :(
