Thing of utter randomness that I cranked out today, when I should have been doing research for my Jazz essay or working on the Kaguyahime project. Oh yes, I can see the Nejiness in this. Absolutely lovely, as usual. I wish I could do doodle-ish things like this. I'm learning, though.

I love it when other people see more in my art than I do... it's like some kind of confirmation that maybe it has depth or something. Heh.

And doodles are FUUUN. Since you've got a tablet now, you oughta try it - ignore reference material, just play around and see what happens. For me, the key is to just play and not worry about it being presentable. Tablets do take a while to get used to, though; I've done sooooo much crap that nobody will ever see just getting used to it. XD

I think it'll take a *while* longer for me to play around without reference material. Then again, I was convinced it would take a long time before I let go of the paper and drew directly in Photoshop and I'm doing it already, so it might happen sooner than I think after all...
