Just some updates on stuff. Mostly on the Van picture, because I'm trying to motivate myself by posting it. But also some Twilight fanart that's been in the works for a while, because the next book's coming up soon. Damn, you're expecting concrit and now I can't stop looking at Edward again... *closes tab* Well, to start with I have to say that I think you've got her pretty spot on. She's pretty but not overly so, with the long brown hair and brown eyes, and full lips. She reminds me a little of Emmy Rossum, which is not a bad thing at all as far as I'm concerned. Also, I like the new pose better. Oh I can't wait to see the finished product!! ♥

muahahaahahah my evil plan worked I mean, thanks! I'm trying pretty hard to stick with the description Meyer gives of her - imperfections and all. For instance, it says someplace that she has a widow's peak, and while I find that thought rather unattractive, personally, I think it's important to include. It IS rather hard not to make her too pretty, though... I have too much of a tendency to want to perfect things.

Dunno who Emily Rossum is, but now I'm curious. I'll have to google her. XD

I have to admit that I haven't read all the descriptions available on the Lexicon site *blushes and hides* but I'll make sure to do it before I draw more fanart. I didn't know about the widow's peak so I'll change my design slightly next time.

I really want to draw Jacob. I loved the way he was drawn in the Japanese illustrations but I want to do my own version.

Eheheheh... *scratches back of neck sheepishly* I just realized I was a bit hypocritical in saying that. Because that would imply that I always looks stuff like that up. I did for Bella, yes, because I had a fuzzier mental image of her than of other characters. I don't think I did that with the Edward picture, though; he was plenty vivid in my head. Which means, of course, that I probably got some details on him wrong. Meh.

I want to draw Jacob too. Poor boy needs more love! That and you know he'd be hot. XD

I'm so dead that I forgot you had more than one picture. Van's hands look a little awkward. Relax them if you can - his right looks a bit stiff, move the far fingers a bit to make it look like they're actually hanging from his hand - and his left doesn't quite look like it's holding him up. Move up the closer fingers to keep the hand from being too spatula-like.

Like the Van, but like the Bella better. Just my preference. I've never been really big on anime.
