Yesterday was a rather amusing day spent with justanothermyth . We'd made plans earlier in the week to go to a bakery that we both like quite a bit, since this variety is a bit of a rarity.

( Vegan cheesecake is the most delicious oxymoron... )

The creation of Middle Earth, and the parts with the Valar is one of my favourite parts of the book.

I held off on reading the Silmarillion for a long time, because many people had told me it was boring and dreadful. When I finally did read it, I was quite surprised to find that I loved it! The creation of Middle Earth is probably my favorite, but the story of Beren and Luthien gets me crying every time.
