EXCUSE ME, BUT WHERE IS COACH/MRS. COACH? That poll reminded me about how I used to get Lyla and Tyra confused. I mean, I knew who Lyla was and who Tyra was, but jeepers, their names are similar. I ALSO LIKED LYLA AND THAT ONE GUY, THAT ONE GUY WHO BOUGHT HER A BURGER AND THEN LEFT. NO, IT WAS TYRA, DARN IT.

SEE POLL TITLE:

Not including Coach/Mrs. Coach because please, everyone ever ships them.

Their names are weirdly similar, I always thought it was weird that they gave their two main girls such oddly similar names. UM, THE OLDER GUY IN LIKE THE THIRD EPISODE? I'm not sure I remember that.

Oh, whoops.

I always thought it was weird, too. And confusing. Yeah, this guy? I am not going to lie, I am really excited for his new USA legal drama with Gabriel Macht, a.k.a. that guy I said should be Will's brother, even though I don't actually think it would work.

Basically this. Always.

I am still trying to wrap my head around just ONE MORE EPISODE. I am all caught up and ready, and I have SO MANY FEELINGS. I want to go back to the beginning and watch the whole show all over again.

I was actually thinking about the oldbies and how things could have/maybe would have been different if Jason hadn't been injured in the pilot. I think you're probably right that not much changed in terms of where they went, but in some cases, they did change in terms of who they were. I guess I'm mostly thinking of Lyla, though. I feel like she changed a lot because of Jason's injury, although I guess there were certainly other things in her life that changed her. That just seems like the first big blow to what was an almost perfect world when we first saw her ( ... )

I was going to mention Lyla in that paragraph but it ~didn't go with the flow~, but I agree, she and Tyra were the ones whose lives have most not followed the obvious path. Which is so funny! This is a show about football! And they're the girls! You wouldn't think they would be the ones whose lives would veer off track because of Jason's accident.

ME TOO, GOOD LORD. I mean I don't think they will exactly but god damn, the scary thing is you can tell this opportunity is worth that much to Tami and Eric is pretty stubborn. THEY CAN'T GO THERE but I like being afraid that they might, I don't know ( ... )

WHERE IS MY TIM/LYLA/STREET OPTION? Because I wasn't into them separately but that stupid trip to Mexico for the shark stem cells or whatever was Feelings City, Population: ME.

I want them to go to Philly SO BADLY but I also want Coach to be able to take care of all the people he'll leave behind like, can you coach via Skype so Billy and Jess and Vince can still have jobs and a coach and people to look up to? CAN YOU BRING THEM ALL WITH YOU TO PENNSYLVANIA?

I am not going to make it through next week intact. SADNESS HEADACHE FO SHO.

FORGOT ABOUT THAT COMPLETELY, that was def weirdly hot though. It came out of nowhere and went nowhere! Maaaaaan.

UGH THAT IS THE ISSUE, ISN'T IT. I was honestly sitting there all "just move to Philadelphia, Jess!" for a second but no, THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS IN REAL LIFE. But that's exactly how it is, ugh ugh it's the best choice for them but the worst choice for a lot of the others, like, god, the number of lives they've changed between the two of them in that town.

Already steeling myself for two straight hours of tears.

I WAS TOTALLY THINKING ABOUT HOW BACK IN S2/S3 I WANTED TYRA AND LANDRY TO LIKE, GO OFF AND BE MARRIED BECAUSE YEAH I'M THAT LAME, AND HOW APPARENTLY I GREW PAST THAT ALL MATURELY.

but then you had to come in and give me feelings >:(

But no I am happy with however they end that, IT WILL BE OPEN ENOUGH WITH BOTH OF THEM THAT I CAN PRETEND.

NO ONE EVER WRITES SAPPY STUFF ABOUT THEM, APPARENTLY TYRA/ANYONE BUT LANDRY IS LIKE, EDGIER OR SOMETHING. I am the same way though, I get SO POUTY when people are like THE TERRIBLE TYRA/LANDRY PLOTLINE IN S2, because okay the murder thing was so dumb but then so many feelings came out of it :(

YOU AND ME AND ALL OF US, I think.

OH GODDDDDDDDDD THIS SHOWWWWWW. I haven't watched this week's yet but my eye happened to fall on the paragraph about Tyra and fsldkrjlskdfjl THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ALL SEASON.

My poll choices are really basic especially because I'm going to say that I really only ship Tim/Julie in sort of the same way I ship Tim/Becky, which is that it's more of a protective older brother thing and I just want 5000 episodes of them spending time together. ALSO: I did like Tyra/Landry at the time but now I'm kind of over it, not a huge deal.

I KNOW RIGHT I HAVE MISSED HER SO MUCHHHH

Tim and Julie were adorbssssssss together in the big brosef way but for a lot of people it turned into a legit ship and it was NOT like that for me. BUT I WOULD NOT BE AT ALL OPPOSED TO 5000 EPISODES OF THAT. But yeah I was an intenser version of that: I LOVED THEM SO MUCH, for a bit there, but now that time has passed it's more like I loved them then, less like they were ~*meant to be*~ or whatever. The time has passed and that's fine.

Yeeeeessssss that's a good way of saying it!! They were wonderful together but it was never a forever thing, which I think is a much more realistic way to approach a relationship anyway. I'm content with what they had without needing them for be together forever.

it's just funny because AT THE TIME of the Tyra/Landry feelings explosion, I was not rational about it at all! Usually I hate when teenage 'ships try to act all TOGETHER FOREVERY, but I def had feelings of that sort about them at the time. But now I can barely remember it. Weird how that works!
