I LOVE YOU FOR POSTS LIKE THIS. THEY ARE SO GORGEOUS.

And that is all I will say because it is sleepytime. But I had to comment because you came up in my conversation with Melissa today and I thought, "OH HEY, Alex hasn't posted in a while I don't think." So.

AREN'T THEY? THEIR LITTLE FACES!!!! They look so happy! And yet they were miserable! And yet in love! I don't know why I'm obsessing over love stories that are congealing with age when I should be sleeping or being productive, BUT THERE YOU GO.

Ha! I guess I haven't. POSTING REQUIRES EFFORT?

AHHH I LOVE THEM. I never knew any of this. Thanks so much for this post HAHAHA.

Also, where did all the sass and wit from the Golden Age go? Did it run out? Just, no one recent, that I can think of, can be that sassy and witty and adorable and charming anymore :[

AREN'T THEY LOVELY?

I guess there's only a limited amount to go around in the first place? Or maybe it was just the magic of the time? WHATEVER IT IS, I MISS IT. :(

UNDENIABLY Y.

Thanks! And enjoy! SINATRA ALBUMS ARE SO GOOD, and so few people actually listen to them as albums? He's such an icon that everyone gets really compilation happy. WHICH IS GREAT, but the albums fit together so niiiiiice.

/Sinatra geeking.

Ah, this post was gorgeous! And with music! (which I'm snagging, btw. :D)
Anyhoo, this was awesome. I'm a sucker for celebrity gossip/scandal and this is the best kind. :)

Thank you! AND AGREED, there is no better celebrity gossip than unearthing tales from the olden days. So much more fun that picking up a tabloid!

In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning is one of my favorite songs ever, IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL. I actually know little to nothing about them because I'm sadly uneducated when it comes to old Hollywood, but wow these two were something else. This post is wonderful, I love love love old pictures. Everyone looks so beautiful and glamorous.

IT'S MINE TOO! It reminds me of um, Sleepless in Seattle? My parents were really into that soundtrack when I was a kid. Even though that wasn't the Frank version. But the Frank album! Fun fact (or actually not-so-fun fact): his breakup with Ava basically fueled his (singing) career comeback (his film career was already back up on the rise), because it gave him the new public image of the lonely guy at the end of the piano bar. :(
