Disorganized Author Pimp Post - Martha Wells

One of my favourite authors is going through some house-related financial issues, so I thought I would take a chance and do a little story pimping! She has a lot of her older works self-published as e-books, and they're all a: good books! and b: cheap!

I also endorse Martha Wells' books! All the ones I have read so far have been excellent, lots of great world-building and interesting characters.

My favorite is and probably always will be Wheel of the Infinite. The main character is that book is just so awesome and has such issues, i love it so hard.

Sadly I must admit that it is the one I haven't read! /o\ I should go ahead and get one of the hardcovers through her site, if they're still available.. Maybe after my next paycheck or tax return :3

See if you can get it through the library. My local library had a copy, which is how I read it. I have still not read the Fall of Ile-Rien.

It's hard, though, to say if you will like it or not. I over-identify with Maskelle, so I can't read the book objectively.

Well, considering how much I have liked her other stuff, I think the chances are good I will enjoy it too :) Actually I think you would like Tremaine, the main character from FoIR, too. And Ilias and Gilead have a very slashable mythic heroes kind of friendship that I think you would also really like!

Okay, good. I'd heard that CC's version is, ah... well, not so great.

(But of course, THAT is the one they're making into a movie... ¬_¬)

Bah, stupid CC! You should totally get the MW City of Bones though, it is great!
