Sometimes I really hate being stuck in my cubicle...

...because, like an idiot, I'm posting dorky stuff when there's something a lot bigger going on than my tirade about mastadons...

My heart goes out to everyone hurt by this.

This is the second school shooting where people I know and care deeply for had kids negangered. She is fine, thank the gods... Columbine (off by 4 days) was the other, and those kids were fine too.

VT is a huge campus... there was litereally no way the acedemic side could have gotten the warning of the two people shot on the residential side... cut the schoool some slack, folks.

Hugs to your kids, and your loved ones...

I'm glad she's okay, but, oh... It's such a horrible thing to even think about, especially if the "why" I've heard is true.

I mean you wake up in the morning to go to your work, or your classes, and then suddenly you end up dead. I am so sorry for those families left behind... I just...I just don't get how people can do that. And it's not like their possessed or anything, no. It's just that something is loose in their mind and make people lose their life and the rest of the world to lose faith in mankind.

Dammit. :(

I'm still trying to make sense of it. I heard that it was a murder/suicide thing due to a relationship ending but I've not had the guts to check the news for more details...
