Why yes, I do look like Legolas, thank you very much ... ;)

So, it's been a long time since I shared an anecdote here involving one of my sons, but in this case, I simply can not resist. I got up early with my 3 year old the other day, and we were about to watch a DVD on my Mac. I had to reboot, and in doing so, of course it displayed my desktop picture (which is normally covered with open documents or ( Read more... )

It's lovely to see you again. I've been away myself more than I'd like and it's been much too long since I've read anything you've posted. :0(

You're sons are soo adorable, heehee although you do not look like Legolas you are much prettier than he. :D I'm sorry though to hear that your work has you traveling so much. I want to so much move to SoCal, but can't seem to find any jobs there that would suite me. As far as Merlin goes I have not gotten into that show, but may have to because of all the things I've heard.

I also heard that Ian has thought about dropping out as Gandalf because of the delays that has plagued The Hobbit I so want to see it on the big screen, but am afraid that if they replace Ian with someone else as Gandalf I will be overly disappointed. I know that PJ wants to get this done just as badly as the fans so I hope that things work out soon.

LOL. That is very nice of you to say! :) Thank you. :)

May I ask what type of job you would be looking for? I will keep my ears open just in case I happen to hear of something (I realize the probability is low, but you never know.)

Nooooooo! I definitely know what you mean about Gandalf ... PJ should just direct it himself; then the problem would be solved. ;) Seriously, how hard can it be to find someone to make The Hobbit?!

May I ask what type of job you're looking for?
Currently I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Networking and Telecommunications Management so I can do either the technical side of the house or go with management side if I wanted right now my technical side though is a little rusty because I don't deal with a lot of that with what I'm doing currently. However I would pretty much like to do anything that would give me enough $$ to live off there. I'm right now making $40k a year which I know that's prob not even going to be close to what we need to live off of. I have been wanting to go into graphics though.

I agree I think that PJ should just direct it himself I know that he didn't or couldn't in the beginning because of prior obligations but now why can't he do it. Besides if he really wants to have it made he should just do it.

Hee! Nice one :D

I'm totally disappointed about the situation with the Hobbit, too =/ They must sort it out somehow!

..even though I've pretty much lived in Middle Earth all this time (Lord of the Rings online)...

I have been reading Merlin too - I'm actually now after RPS, have you run into any good stuff? And if you have a Kindle (how I read everything now) there is a ton of it for ebook readers...
