Suzanne (thegoodmama) posted yesterday on FB and it led to a discussion about how some of us missed dialoguing, and also documenting our lives, in a deeper way. I hope some others will follow through as well. But regardless, I’m back! Sometime I’ll tell you about my continuing path in and out of the photography world.
I had seen on FB that you were back in Boulder and I was soooo thrilled for you. I love watching all of your outdoor adventures. Someday I’ll make it to Boulder. Really, I should take more advantage of what I have here, but my littlest is just finally getting to the point that we can do anything comprehensive as a family. And taking time to get out of the city just doesn’t happen enough. I should make it more of a priority.
When our daughter got married and moved off, we experienced a curious, inverted form of this "slighting" conundrum - once she became the part of a new household, the number of entries which were tagged with her nickname suddenly dropped off considerably. She wrote me once and lamented the fact that her younger siblings kept getting mentioned in my LJ, but her? Only rarely.
Thanks so much for the push to come back here. I feel so constrained by Facebook. It has advantages (number of contacts, business, information etc) however those very things are what keep me from really getting real too. Anyway, can't wait to get started. Thanks for the push.

I would love to hear what's been going on with you and your photography.
We moved back to Boulder a few years ago and finally all is right with my world.

It is tough when your kids start their own lives.
