A book recommendation

One of the most amazing women I know, Sarah Diemer, published her first novel today. The Dark Wife, a lesbian revisionist retelling of the Persephone myth, promises to be a breathtakingly beautiful story. Here is the author's description:

Oh that sounds neat! Well, it actually sounded kind of random/arbitrary in the description, but then I read the author's blog post explaining more of the myth's history, and it started sounding better.

Have you read Emma Donoghue's Kissing the Witch? It is a bunch of fairytales told from the main female characters' point of view, often with lesbian overtones. I read it years ago and remember liking it.
