I've slowly but surely come to the conclusion that my ASM & office mate for the summer is a completely unmotivated lazy and incompetent moron. And I think that's being nice

I've tried. Again and again and again...and nothing. Every time I try to get him to at least be partially responsible for himself or take some initiative, he fails miserably and completely spaces out and gets nothing accomplished.
He's the kind of guy who cannot walk and chew gum at the same time, because giving him more than one thing to think about or work on completely overloads his brain to the point where he just sort of gives up.
And yet, this is someone who wants to be a counselor, and help others with their problems? Yikes! Run away scared now please!
