Finally managed to get myself to sit down and watch the Sherlock Holmes pilot(having a fever has nothing to do with it I swear *coughcough*). I am 11:50 into it, and I am already simultanously thinking "What the hell is wrong with him" and "I am in love

I watched Sherlock yesterday at NRK. I started watching 8 minutes in, and by 12 minutes I was convinced! Loved it!

They are amazing! Of course, this is just the pilot but I have heard things, and it appears to be all over good.

Det var egentlig utrolig godt å se det på TV når det gikk også. Rett og slett dedikere den tiden til det - istede for å se det på PC'en når jeg alikevel ikke gjør noe annet. Lenge siden jeg har gjordt det gitt. LOL

TV har jeg ikke sett på på lenge. Så hvorfor jeg har denne Canal Digital pakka når jeg aldri bruker den er ett mysterium :P

Technically it's not the "pilot", it's simply the first episode. The pilot is unaired, and also only 30 minutes long -- and was extended and reshot to make the first episode. So when you say the pilot regarding Sherlock, most fandom people will think of the unaired one, not the one they're airing on TV. (SORRY I'M BEING DIFFICULT.)

Isn't it good, though? I thoroughly enjoy the show. And I never saw the love for Benedict either -- until I watched Sherlock, and also got to know more about him as a person from interviews and stuff.

I watched it on NRK too, even though I've seen all of it before. Just, you know, supporting viewercount and all that. Plus I'd been meaning to rewatch season 1.

I need more Sherlock icons.

Well I know that *now* but I didn't know when I wrote the post. And honestly, I'm so lazy to fix it, lol. Though in a way 1x01 is also a pilot, as it is the first one to be shown on TV. Even if there is an unaired one(I CAN BE DIFFICULT TOO). Though I am very happy they redid the unaired pilot. I like this one much better.

It is very good. I didn't know it was on NRK though, so I'm going to watch it on NRK online, just to show NRK that yes, I am interested in this. Besides, I'm rubbish at remembering when these things actually air, lol.

A pilot is the episode shown to the studio. They showed the studio the unaired pilot, who then commissioned three episodes. It's not epynomous with "first episode", since pilots is sometimes even the second or third episode. (I WILL COMPETE YOU ON DIFFICULTNESS. Or we could just agree to disagree, I'm not that difficult.)

But yes, I too am happy that they did.

Tuesdays at 21:30 on NRK1. So second episode is next week. (Now I'm tempted to watch it at NRK online as well, since I missed the first 15 minutes when it was on TV.)

Awesome, will watch it then. And you shold def watch the first 15 minutes. Especially if you missed the first meeting of Sherlock. Glorious. Which you probably know if you're rewatching, lol.
