Oh, and doesn't reading w/o your glasses make your vision worse?? Cuz you have to focus harder on the text..?

well that's what I was thinking. But the book says that when u get glasses they usually overprescribe u (get the lense for one eye, and then the other, isntead of 2 of the same lense for the same eye) and ur eyes sorta hurt when reading (if ur nearsighted). Thus the decay of the eyes and u will need stronger ones as u progress (im sure this isn't the first pair of glasses u've had
