If I happen to find myself in a more organized state sometime tomorrow, I'll see if I can find any good GokuHaru recs. And now that you mention it, I'd kinda like to read some Hibari/I-Pin myself.

Nice choices for favorite filler ep, as expected. :D The Reborn trial is probably my personal favorite (easily the most epic the anime has ever been, IMO). I was a bit surprised you didn't list the Ugetsu trial episode, though, lol.

I liked the Asari trial but seeing any form of Gokudera being so suave was a treat. ^^

For the record, and I'm such a nerd, Himura Kenshin is strictly speaking NOT a samurai (from the warrior class), but a commoner they turned into an assassin. So he's not in this list.

Yamamoto's current box technique is based off Asari's. His basic technique comes from his father, then fine-tuned by Reborn and Squalo.

Saitou Hajime in RK for sure!!! I'm probably biased but I would probably put Kurogane for Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles in there too.

also yes I'm glad some one asked about the girls to ... and I would agree with you on Kusanagi Makoto ^_^ she's pretty cool. I would probably put Himiko(GetBackers) and Fuu from (Champloo) I know/watch/read much much less than you so I have a smaller field to pick from.
