hmm I didn't read the book but I did watch the film. I was the same with the film ...coming away from it huh?whut?

But, credit to the actors. It was brilliantly shot(if a little confusing, which was the aim I think) with wonderfully simple sets/setting.

Although chronology was difficult to follow at times I did enjoy. It was an interesting mind ride.

Hmm maybe I should go check out the story then.

Hee! I'm really excited about the launch and meeting you in person (finally!) as well. ^^

Ooh, I haven't watched the movie yet, but it sounds interesting. ^^ Is the short story available online by any chance? I watched Haruhi and I found that particular style of storytelling interesting, even if I'm not too fond of the series itself. ^^; Baccano uses a similar technique too. ^_^
