I've been fiddling with this long enough. proudcockatrice suggested just throwing it up (my words, not his) on the LJ and doing more fixing later.

You do not have to have read the first part, as this starts in a very different place. Our Tyr is a grownup psychiatrist in his early 30s now, on a new planet and with new friends...

Yay, I'm happy to learn Tyr's landed with a group of wonderful colleagues. That was a fun exchange to witness, and I'm very curious about David. He just might get me over missing Tim. ^_^
