so yesterday i finished finally this book called through painted deserts. its by donald miller. he is an interesting fellow that is very very (to me) just a different christian. and i admire him so much for it. i like his different ideas about stuff. but i will warn u, some of his stuff is controversial with christian belief. he doesnt abide by

well i understand what you are saying, and im going to go ahead and assume that you are referring to our lack of focus in accountability. But i think that the fellowship, like you said, is also important. I dont think it was wrong of us girls to sit and chat for a while and catch up and talk about things we felt we needed to talk about. Maybe there was some gossip in that and that, of course, is inexusable... but i don't think what we were doing was selfish or wrong, ya know?

But anyways, i do understand what you are saying.

yah, but i wasnt stressing so much on the gossip. it was the fact that it was turned into plans for prom. i mean its cool if we talk about stuff, i love that, it just shouldnt have been all about us that night. we didnt even talk once about God. we kinda just put him to the side and talked about who was going with who n such. but i did it also so im disappointed in myself. but im glad u get mostly where im comin from.

i think someone told me to read that book a while back, but i forgot. i'm pretty sure i'll read it now that i've heard about it again.

and i totally know what you mean on the last 2 paragraphs. it's hard not to see when you're straying from Him sometimes.

i definitely will. the book i'm reading now is kind of scary because it's about some girl getting kidnapped and i don't really like it. =/ =)
