It's, uh, basically the crappiest the finale could have been. I'm not really sure if, having the choice, I would watch it again.

That was so depressing. I'm glad Tom at least didn't criticize Carla in his final summation; she knew she'd lost it and didn't need him to rub it in.

Fuckin' Casey. Fuckin' Hosea. Won't be watching the reunion. I'm sure Carla will win Fan Favorite, anyway.

If Carla doesn't get Fan Favorite, something is wrong with the world.

But... yeah. I really respected Tom for taking it easy on Carla -- much more than I respected Hosea for being the dick in the stew room, while even Stefan managed to be a nice guy. What the fuck, Hosea?

I'm not going to bother with the reunion, either. One more minute of Hosea on my TV and I may die.

If you don't mind, I'm gonna do this "highlight for spoilers" style:

To make a long story short, Carla made some mistakes based on advice from her sous chef, and she was told as much in the initial judges' Q&A; at that point, it was pretty clear she was out of the running, and she started breaking down in the Q&A. In the stew room, she was still crying, and Stefan was comforting her while Hosea sat across the room and said "I'm just happy I got to cook my own food" -- maybe not the kindest thing to say to someone who just got told she fell down for not cooking hers.

So, yeah, Hosea's a dick.
