Quest was an amazing event as usual. It's all the way on the other edge of the Kingdom, but the 13-14 hour drive is entirely worth it. I drove out with
gflower and we chattered nearly non-stop for the whole ride. You really need to like someone to spend that kind of quality time and still be sort of sad to see them go...

Sometime when I'm not trapped in my own cabin doing scrollwork, I'd *love* to learn how to make those barley/oatcakes you shared with me, and also that chicken stew - I didn't get to taste any of that but it looks positively yummy!

I often do the barley oat cakes - if you see me making bread at an event, in all likelihood that is one of the recipes on offer and I am always happy to teach. It's a flatbread and so a very forgiving recipe. The chicken stew was a first time experiment, but a success so a variant may show up again sometime too.
