Dear Brain: stop coming up with crossover ideas!

Apr 14, 2011 12:16

I think I've found a story idea that is going to take over my mind even more than my untintentional migraine-verse has. And it's pure, unadulterated crack (except knowing me, I try to make crack make sense.) I read a prompt on the glee_crack_meme, except they wanted Sue in what I felt should be Will's spot--more on that under the cut.

Glee/Buffy ( Read more... )

fandom: glee, i'm such a geek, fandom: buffy, i must be out of my mind, x-over, crossover, i can make *anything* glee-related, glee, btvs, story ideas, buffy

Wow, Buffy/Glee cross-over! I honestly wouldn't have seen it if you hadn't printed it out for me. Though, looking over the line up, I'd have to agree with your choices. I especially like the idea of Karofsky being the face man for Big Bad, but certainly not the one pulling the stings. Interesting. Its been years since I've watched Buffy, but now I'm thinking I may have to go back through a couple seasons. ^_^ Why is it that your crack always ends up becoming my crack? lol Your crack infects me!

I'm infectious! I will take that as a compliment, lol! I love infecting other people (usually my mom, but still).

I've been obsessed with Buffy/Angel off & on (mostly on) for... almost 10 years now. Like, as obsessed as I am with Glee right now, always coming up with different story ideas. Back when I was 18, literally almost every other sentence out of my mouth was a Buffy quote. I only lost interest toward the end of last year, because of a messy fallout w/ my Buffy RP partner ( ... )

Yes, that was totally a compliment! ^_^

I remember watching Buffy through the early parts of high school, but I think I fell off the wagon around season 4 or so. I just had so much going on with school that I really didn't even watch TV for about 2 years. lol I think there's much catching up to do. I'll be checking Hulu and Netflix later to see if either of them carry the seasons. :D

I was obsessed like that with Red vs Blue for a while, so I know how that goes. Sorry there was a messy fall out. :(

I could see that most people would pick Rachel as the Slayer for a Buffy/Glee cross over... But I think that's the "safe" pick. I think Kurt as a Slayer would be much more interesting to read because it's not the "norm".

lol at Tina finally meeting a real vampire! That's awesome.

No need for apology! I love being your sounding board! <3 Means I get to see the ideas go from ideas to stories. I think that evolution is really interesting to "watch"... I suppose read would be a better term, but I'm sure you know what I mean. ^_ ( ... )

I was just out of school, & got into it just during the very dark Season 6 (which is still my favorite season, despite no longer liking the pairing I had back then; it's a very interesting season, psychologically speaking. /geek) Oh wow, I just checked Netflix. I knew the first several seasons were on Instant, but turns out all of them are! (Not like I don't have most of them on DVD or anything, but I'm lazy like that.)

I was thinking about how Kurt might be a Slayer, since they're always girls... I came up with a solution, I think, but it bothers me that he essentially was "supposed" to be a girl. I like it that Kurt's an effeminate gay boy, not a straight girl who was accidentally born a boy. Although... yeah, I could work with it, I'm just not in love with it.

I also figured out this morning who the actual Big Bad is--you are going to love it. >D I also had an idea for a prophetic dream sequence (which I love writing), a surprise family relationship between two characters, and what Blaine's "hidden agenda" is. I just...need to ( ... )
