See? I haven't forgotten my favorite fandom! I just hit a minor writing burn-out. O_O;;; But I'm back! From outer space! I just walked in to find you here with that sad look upon your face! I should have changed... that... stupid... lock... *sweatdrop* OK. I think I'll stop now

I am not finished with this yet, but dude, this might just be the most adorable thing I've read with the two of them. Adorable, omg.

You know you've done a good job when you make someone comment before they're even done reading. ^_~ This just seemed like such a Berger/Claude thing to do. And I confess I was a little inspired in that moment by the March 6th matinee performance. ^_^
To quote my entry from 3/6/10: "Right before "Manchester England", Gavin Creel is supposed to slide across the stage on his knees to center stage. He stalled. O_o Got about 1 foot into the slide then got stuck and kinda fell forward onto his hands and scooted the rest of the way. Might have even gone unnoticed... except for Will Swenson. Once Gavin was back up on his knees, Will snarked, "Graceful." Gavin whipped around and, without missing a beat, beamed at Will and flipped him the bird."
I'm glad you liked it! :D

Seriously though, this entire fic has me all 'awww!' for some reason. I want to squish them all. And you. I love the way you're fleshing out the Margaret Mead character. And the balk-and-tug scene complete with the elbow to the stomach is still one of the most adorable claude/berger images ever.

Hee! *tail wag* Squish away! ^_^ I'm glad you're enjoying it. I just love Margaret. I've always thought that it was really awesome that they wrote a character like her back in 1968, long before gender identity or gender reassignment surgery really became a mainstream topic of discussion. And she is just such a great character! *_*
I've also got a unique insight into her -- one of my best friends from my vet school years was gay and would cross-dress. We talked about it a few times over the years and he always left me feeling a little in awe and very lucky. I can't even imagine what it would feel like to wake up every morning and feel like you're wearing the wrong skin. *shudders* So, I wanted an opportunity to explore Margaret's character a little more, to look into why she did what she did and became who she became. ^_ ( ... )

Brilliant brilliant brilliant!! As always your written is amazing and I am loving where this is going! Lots of beautiful cute moments between Claude and Berger…and the Claude and Margaret conversation was brilliant! Her cover wasn’t safe for a minute. I hope Claude manages to perform his miracle and I hope it works in a positive way all round!
*squeeze* I love your Hair fic’s so so much! I can’t wait for the next chapter…not that I’m nagging…well maybe a little ;-) x

I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I've always wanted to do a story with Hubert and Margaret -- they're just too adorable to be left out! :) And I just loved the timing of their appearance, too -- right in the middle of one of Claude's angstiest moments in the show. ^_^ It kind of gives everyone a minute to step back away from the precipice and re-immerse themselves in their usual innocent joy. And Claude is a devious little boy... I'm sure he'll find a way to get what he wants in the end. ;D
*hugs* Thank you so much for the lovely comments! Next chapter is being worked on... albeit slowly. O_o;;; Hoping to crank it out this weekend, but we'll see how that goes. ^_^
