The one thing that really ticks me off about this is the Bible Thumper that just talked to you and didn't see if you were okay at all! Hell, by walking away he could have killed you all! Yeah, that's a bit extreme, but it's entirely true. Religion may be nifty, but science typically gets shit done. There's a reason pagan magic requires people to, after ritual, go out and DO something about it: Nothing gets done by inaction; after you get yourself worked up and in tune to what you want done, you go out and cause the events that can make what you want happen.
