My last posting was six months ago. That surprises me and yet not so much. I retreated from the world when it became too difficult to bear and too stressful to handle. The purpose of the ages 2-4 is to start to prepare the parents for the teen years. Sigh... there are times I swear my 13 yo acts like a 3 yo. And you've hit upon the reasons I look at politics as rarely as I do - though readily admit to having some very interesting discussions with friends who are Republicans, Democrats, and a few somewhere between Green and Independent. Stopped hoping for miracles in politics *decades* ago, but will always put in my $.02 if I think it'll help. (heck, it works with the roads departments around here... might work with a larger scope, y'never know)

Glad to hear you're doing what you need to for you... and that the little one is still charming the heck out of you, even if she does drive you nuts from time to time. Hope to see all three of you at faire this year!
