Jindal is a GOP idiot (as if there is anything BUT a GOP idiot today). I knew about Mt. Redoubt months ago, and when Jindal claimed the stupidity of a Volcano Monitoring System update, the first thing in my mind was "Uh, you din't really say that, did you, you moron!" Imagine the planes dropping out of the sky due to volcanic ash being sucked into engines. Or people breathing this in, damage to homes, etc.
Palin should have known better. Christ, let's go back to the great Alaskan earthquake in the 60's. Imagine the lives that could have been spared had they had this system in line. And this is her own state!
Of course, people in California won't need an updated earthquake system. Why give it to them, since they are a bunch of sodomites?
