[Klavier opens the door of his and Ema's apartment, and lets Kristoph in.] Oh Fräulein Detective! I'm home~

[brushes the snow off of the borrowed coat and stomps of his shoes in the hall, not wanting to track snows and dirt into the apartment]

Ah, so you're staying with Detective Skye? [there was a slight emphasis on the word "detective", nothing overt, though]

[looks around the apartment with mild disinterest. Ah, so his brother was living in Germantown with the common folk. How very unsurprising.]

Ah, Ema. I nearly didn't see you there. [smiles placidly] Such a look is hardly befitting of a lady your age. You'll give yourself wrinkles.

Also, let me compliment you. I was reviewing the case tapes the other day, and I was particularly struck by your impersonation of me. Perhaps if you ever tire of your detective work, you might want to take up acting. [smiles~ lol what a jerk]

[einspruch]

[Opens his mouth to say something, and then rethinks it.] Kristoph... you can stay here until you find something more permanent.

[Makes sure his shoes are fairly clean, and then takes Kristoph's coat to hang it in the closet along with his own.]

[He looks at Ema, in a manner that says 'I'm sorry...', and then looks back at his brother.]

[Ema just stared, watching Kristoph like a hawk. Howdare he suggest that she was just a detective. She was a scientific investigator!]

Hmph, as if you knew anything about being a lady. [Frowns] Oh...wait you do. I recommend you stay away from my nail polish, got it?

[Frowns at Kristoph, then frowns at Klavier.] Geeze this is just great. [Grits teeth, misses her Snackoos...]

[smiles placidly, folds his arms across his chest] Yes, my dear brother? You wished to talk?

[einspruch]

[As soon as Ema's left, Klavier drops his calm demeanor and grabs his brother by the collar. His voice is a growl now.]

If I thought that you would show up here, I would have taken precautions. [Realizes how much that sounds like Kristoph, and takes a shaky breath before continuing.] If you hurt anyone here, I swear it, Kristoph, I will take it out on your hide, brotherly bond or no.

[soft chuckle] Temper, temper, Klavier. I see you're as tempestuous as ever...though it was always one of your more endearing traits.

If I "hurt" anyone? Dear brother, what ever could you be implying? [smiles warmly] Could you please unhand me now? You'll wrinkle my suit.

[einspruch]

[Swallows, but goddammit he's going to say this.] Kristoph. You know as well as I do... that you are capable of hurting people in the worst ways. Just... I don't want things to go wrong this time. Please... [He lets go gently, and takes a deep breath.] I don't want... anyone hurt.
