Watching so many people prepare to go back to school leaves me with an odd feeling. Maybe it started with the back-to-school shopping ads on TV, or how crowded the mall was when Dad and I went to return the cable box and modem. Maybe it was hearing so many of my coworkers talk about their schedules and what classes they'll be taking this year.

#1. I know the feeling of the backto school. I'm sort of in the same space, except i'm still technically a student, having been paying tuition for Fall, Spring, Summer, Winter semesters of this past academic year. It's confusing for me for sure. I miss being an undergrad sometimes. Things were more simple than this.
#2. You ARE a composer. If you wrote any music at all, you have the right to call yourself that. You stepped up to the task and DID it. Just keep doing it. You will always be one.
