"Now I'm (or 'I am') trying to read books about Great Britain and the USA. So I hope to generate interest in English."

The classic 50's book is On the Road by Jack Kerouac. It's classic American reading, and Kerouac is a really good writer.

Thanks a lot for the advice! I heard about him but I didn't read his books. I'll look for this book in a bookshop.

It kills me((

Aaaawwwwww, don't be sad! :/ Your English has already improved sooooo much! And remember, you've only been learning it intensively for a little over 2 months. (Now that I've finally passed my выпускной экзамен today I can completely concentrate on Rrrrrussian! *___*)

Also, I would suggest using "it's killing me", since you're stressing the process of your statement here.

Igor, du schlauer, schlauer Mann! :3
