So I'm supposed to write an essay on why I'm becoming an academic interdisciplinarian for a bullshit class we're required to take in my major (the major is a combination of the Humanities and the Communications departments, so their keyword for combining the departments is "interdisciplinary"), and it feels like I'm treading down territory familiar

I was a little bit put off by the fact that I posted a pic from Fringe and it generated umpteen comments about Olivia's breasts.

Fandom kerfluffles are pretty common on Tumblr, if only because there are no real barriers between sections of fandom. I mean, if you don't friend any CA fans on LJ, chances are that you'll never even come into contact with most of them. On Tumblr, they'll inevitably pop up on your dash.
It used to be much worse last year, though, back when the Spuffy-Bangel ratio was about 60/40 and BA fandom was attacking everyone. And before that, you couldn't reblog a post without a battle breaking out about Faith vs. Buffy or Cordelia and Fangel vs. Cangel. I'm just glad that Spuffy-inclined multishippers seem to have overwhelmed Tumblr for the time being. :)

oh gosh! YOU ARE ME! lol
My college entry paper was entitled 'How Bunnies Stole My Optimism'
It was based on bunnies and Anya and how we share this fear. I basically related myself to her character, explained why I thought bunnies could potentially bring about Armageddon, and then turned the whole paper on it's head. Instead of listing the reasons why I wanted to attend college, I asked them to give me reasons I should want to attend college.
basically I was saying if bunnies are going to potentially take over the world in a couple of years, why even bother attending college?
wow. rant it long. and now you know for sure I'm a crazy person...good going Anne!
and I am anal retentive about tagging
ahahaha! I am TOO! It's pretty bad, but very organized :)
