The Veronica Mars Movie is (almost) a go! Rob Thomas (VM's exec producer) and Kristen Bell have started a Kickstarter Campaign to raise money to make the movie! And they created this amazing promo to get it going!

I've already pledged my money, so swag is in my future! And I may have sent Rob Thomas a message asking if a certain academic can

OMG, I JUST POSTED THE SAME THING. Except you've actually seen the show, haha. It's amusing me greatly that it took them a couple of hours to fulfil half their requirement, haha

They're gonna meet their goal and probably exceed it within 24 hours. I'm only moderately interested in VM, but this is a very cool project.

Saw your post and kicked in slightly more than I can afford. I'd really like to see a revolution in how media of all kinds is made and delivered and this is one of the steps.
