I'm glad someone else likes The Fades. It's filling a Misfits and Being Human-shaped hole very nicely indeed right now. Mac and Paul are a tremendous pairing.
The third episode is where Pan Am got really interesting, because it was a Frenchwoman in Berlin during Kennedy's speech there, and all her feelings towards the Germans for being in collusion with the Nazis during her childhood.
And I really think you'll like The Fades. The two boys who are best friends bring plenty of levity to the serious mythology.
Taking stimulants in the early evening was a BAD IDEA, and now I'm awake contemplating doing a TVD re-watch liveblog for something to do. Because feelings, I has them.
Look at the crappy icon I just made! I seriously wish someone with skill could make me one that's a bit more decent, but has the exact same sentiment. Because I am in love with this man. Did you catch the line about Game of Thrones? I WAS TELLING MY DAD THE EXACT SAME THING! Of course I was generalizing for all genre shows, but I've said something similar before! AND THE BATMAN COSTUME! Best use of a Batman costume since Abed in season 1 of Community. I swear. SOUL MATE.
Dan Harmon is a brilliant, brilliant troll, and I love him for it. I also liked the Troy/Britta, though I don't ship them, but it was a really good episode.

I just got myself all the Fades episodes so far and mean to watch to them tonight.
Should I give Pan-Am another chance? For my liking it was glorifying the era a bit too much, but I only saw the first ep.

Matt WAS great in this week's TVD. Well played, show.
Then there was the whole writerly rip off with Stefan (nothing he does is going to be his fault, hmmm?)
UGH, SERIOUSLY. I want to POUND MY HEAD against a wall.
