My Survey is Up!

*Takes a deep breath*

Whew! So I have my survey on feminism in the fandom up. Right now it's unofficially launched, but just in the preview stage for the f-list to go over, correct errors for me, and tell me it's WAY TOO LONG (I know! But there are so many good questions!).

Here it is, for you to take first, and here is the corresponding LJ ( Read more... )

f-list love, fandom, feminism in fandom survey, cult television, buffy essays

I'm 8 hours ahead of you. The survey seems fine, though I would give a definition or qualify what "non-normative" sexuality means.

Everything I know about sociology comes from [info]gabrielleabelle!

Oh, that's unfortunate. :/

I have class in a few, so I probably won't be able to take a look at the survey until tonight. Or maybe tomorrow. Meh, my schedule's getting busy. But I look forward to it!

Looks good... although pssst: "political, social and econimic equality" - might want to change that. :)

Also, you mention your discussion LJ on the survey page, but don't link to it from there, only from here?

Will email addresses be displayed if we fill that part out? I don't mind making myself available for follow-up, but I'd rather not have my email address on a results page. :)

I . . . don't think so? I believe I'm the only one who can see results? Go back to the survey website, see if there's a button to show results. If there is a "show results" button that you can see, just write "contact me on LJ" and I'll know how to get in touch with you.

I separated the lumped questions into BtVS and AtS and separated the Joss question into two, with an introduction. I deleted the sisterhood question because I feel it was the most unnecessary, and I know it's a long bugger but there's nothing I could do about it because I couldn't eliminate any other questions. I figue the zealots (heh. We're the zealots!) will answer the open-ended questions, and everyone else will just click ticky boxes and radio buttons. It'll give me more objective data, and I can use quotes from the comment boxes to augment or illustrate my findings.

GAH! I'm so nervous about this!

Let me know what you think about the changes, and thanks for your help!
