Try some anbesol, that stuff is the shit. You may be drooling a bit, but you won't be in pain.

As for Jack and Widget - they seemed to be going at it a bit while I was taking care of them, but mostly when food was put out. I just figured Jack was hungry, and Widget didn't seem to be overly concerned about it...
