Like I said in my previous entry, I have 6 new skeins for my Etsy Shop, not including the 5 that are already there, which I wrote about a few days ago.

Below the cut you can see a picture of the 6 new skeins. I'm putting the first one in the shop tonight, and the rest will go up one each day this week.

*makes grabby hands*

Oooo, if I had spare cash right now.... *checks states of funds* Nope. Drat. I'm not sure which is which, but I looooove the color of the one about 10/11:00. The others are lovely, too; but that silvery-grey is just gorgeous!

Not that I've any clue what I'd make with it, mind. It'd probably end up just hanging out in my stash and getting petted occasionally. ;)

Hee. :) Glad you like! That one is merino and tencel and is called "Strawberry Patch" -- it's actually shiny pinks and greens, and awfully hard to photograph. (The one at about 4/5o'clock is a silvery gray, but not shiny, as it is alpaca plied with purple bombyx silk.)

At first glance, Strawberry Patch reminded me of a black/grey/red woven blanket I have from my grandmother. I accidentally felted it in the washer so it's not as perfect-looking as it once was, but now that it's thicker and fuzzy Laurel loves the stuffing out of it. Oddly, so does the cat.

*tilts head* OK, yeah, I see pink & green now. You're right. Shiny does make for hard to photograph. *nods* Still pretty. It would still sit in my stash for random pettings. :) And the one at 4/5 was my second fave. Right. Going to bed so I can stop looking at the pretty-pretty yarn and drooling all over my keyboard. (I swear, between you and silverstah, it's amazing I haven't spent my entire income on yarn...)
