Things I am Constantly Losing

I live in an apartment full of clutter. That's just the way it is. Someday I hope to change that, but I don't actually see it happening. (It wasn't so bad when I lived in W'boro-- it was a bigger apartment, and I had room just for my crafts. That helped a lot. I miss that apartment a lot. I don't tend to lose cats because all I have to do is shake the treat bag and Callie and Jack come running. I did lose Jack a few days ago, which was really weird-- but it turned out it was because he'd gotten himself into the tv cupboard and couldn't get out. Fortunately, those doors are translucent, so I found him staring out... Heee.

I've lost one slipper at the moment. Fortunately it's too hot to need them at present, but one lonely eeyore slipper is sitting there mocking me without its twin.

I never lose anything any more since everything has a place and that's where it is. Well, some things have 2 places, but you get the idea.

This, obviously, does not apply when step children or grandchildren are in the house. Kid's boy friend put my car keys by the DRYING RACK in the KITCHEN.

Of course, it did lead to an interesting conversation...
"Where did your boyfriend put my keys?"
"He gave them back to you"
"No he did not, because if he did they would be in this pocket" (inverts pocket) "which is obviously empty so he did not return them"
"Let me check with him"
