I want to start a Wordpress food blog. I'm planning to chronicle feeding my family out of a farm box and our garden plus various supplemental shopping trips, and write the occasional restaurant/food product review.

I'm trying to come up with a name for the blog. Some that I was interested in (sweet tooth, toasted cheese) were taken. Neil suggested

Thank you! We'll see how it goes. I've been vaguely interested in food writing for a while, and hopefully this will motivate me to start writing rather than just thinking about it. I'm hoping that over time I might generate some material that I could use as a jumping off point for articles, etc.

I should add that we should really be doing this - we have not one, but three CSA drops in our complex, about 100 yards from our front door. But ... we're lazy. We're terrible people.

I wouldn't feel guilty about not buying into a CSA. You can get good local produce at a farmer's market or at Whole Foods, for that matter. (I in fact still end up buying produce at those places because the box doesn't cover all our needs.)

With a CSA, you're also giving up a little of your ability to select _the perfect_ leek from all the leeks at the grocery store --- you have to make do with what the CSA sends you.

On the plus side, it's fun (and healthy) to figure out ways to make a totally random assortment of produce fit into your meal planning for the week.
