Library. Only on selected days of the week, but worth checking out. I took Peter recently when I was deciding whether or not to vote yes on the new library Bond measure.
Thank you for reminding me about the library! In addition to being open late a few nights, they also have some cool toddler storytimes that we might be ready to check out.
We haven't been so good about getting out of the house lately, but if you're up for driving, Tovar and I are usually hanging out around the house Monday and Friday evenings and are often up for company :) Tovar's bed time is 10, so we'd probably be able to hang out from around 6:20 until around 9:20.
That's so nice! Unfortunately, we would only be able to stay a laughably short amount of time in order for me to get back here and finish prepping dinner. (I was thinking of somewhere that we could leave by 6:30.)
But maybe we could set up a specific Friday night get-together, and I could meet Neil on Castro St. for dinner once he gets off of work.
It also occurs to me that "Playing with a flashlight in the park" could be a very fun activity just outside the Children's Discovery Museum. It's not indoors, but could be fun anyway. I don't know how close you live to a light rail station, but going to and from the CDM on lightrail could also use up some of the extra time.
If Asher likes trains as much as Peter does, that will be a big hit. The times we've taken the train and bus to the ball park Peter has been very well behaved. There's a station right next to the CDM.

Hope that you're continuing to feel better.
