I've waited all week, anxious and wondering if there would ever be joy again what with you-know-who doing every stupid, ridiculous thing he could to sabotage this election. (That, I'm sure, will go on for awhile, but we seem to be going beyond it and having that long overdue celebration

I'm sitting here crying as I watch both President elect Biden and VP elect Harris speak. Both a relief and a joy to see caring adults speak.

I'm doing the same thing! He's got plans, lots of plans like putting together a Covid task force! And Kamala is going to be a force to be reckoned with. It's all so familiar and yet something we haven't seen for FOUR years!

Now we just need to put up with Trump for awhile longer and he'll be GONE. Good riddance! :)

Unfortunately he won't be gone soon enough. He can still do a lot of damage but at least now we can see a light ahead. Hope is so powerful. Plus once the Biden's get into the white house maybe we can have the rose garden replanted and the white house fumigated.

The sound you just heard was the breath that I had been holding for the last four years!
That's not to say I'm not concerned about the next 2 1/2 months... and the amount of division that exists in this country.
But for tonight, I am going to just enjoy the moment.

BTW... the acceptance speech tonight was amazing!

I'm hoping that at least some people on the other side might be willing to give Biden a try. I think we're all concerned about what he might do, unfortunately.

I feel like I'm taking my first clean breath after a long time underwater. I've been staying away from the news for the last few days so that I don't go crazy. But now I'm a happy, happy girl! 73 days and it's a whole new story.

I've felt the same way ... for FOUR long years. I will be so happy the moment our new, DECENT president is sworn in. Then the rebuilding will begin!
