Thank you. :) It's my firm belief that we here in the U.S. all "own" this country. That means when it's threatened, as it currently is, we have a responsibility to act. That doesn't mean that everyone has to take the streets and march, but it does mean doing something, even if that's simply talking to someone who holds a different point of view. You can't sit idly and do nothing. Too much is at stake.

Actually, they were Switzerland. Neutral. Doesn't make them Nazis, but doesn't make them nice people either.

I believe what they're trying to say here, Connor, is American citizens who're currently ignoring what's going on. It's their country and it's in crisis yet they're pretending like everything's fine. And, yes, that doesn't make them nice people ... not at all.

Amen!!!

As Martin Niemoller, anti-Nazi Theologian said:

When they came for the Socialist, I did not speak out because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.
Then they came for me, there was no one left to speak for me.

Hey, Daph! It's great to see you here! Of course, I would've assumed you'd be protesting this situation tooth and nail! And, yes, the Niemoller words ring so true, although I think people will bury their head in the sand now just as they did then, sadly. Nonetheless, I keep hammering away, hoping to inspire some people to put a toe in the water. :)
