Mass-Market Paperbacks Sales in Decline

A comprehensive survey released last month by the Association of American Publishers and the Book Industry Study Group revealed that while the publishing industry had expanded over all, publishers’ mass-market paperback sales had fallen 14 percent since 2008.

It's funny, I still read and purchase paperbacks, I'm tempted to get a Kindle, but I just love snuggling up to a paperback on a rainy day.... a paperback, my fuzzy blanket, and cup of tea is heaven to me!

I couldn't agree more, hon! Your scenario sounds wonderful. In fact, I've done it countless times. The difference between you and me, though, is that should I finish that book and want to read the next book in that series, or another book by that author, or a book by a different author, or a book in that same genre, I can have a new one in my hands in about five minutes! No slogging through that rain for me! :) So, along with brewing a new cup of tea, I can go back to my reading in about ten minutes. ♥
