Merry Christmas, and I hope that everyone's having a good December. Thanks for the presents. A belated thanks, I know, sorry about that; I've been visiting my folks. (Which, aside from another uncomfortable Mass, was great ( Read more... )

Thanks for having me over for Christmas, Eileen...it was a really nice time. I hope your family liked everything okay.

The years are going to keep getting better, Eileen. I know it.

Glad you had fun. They liked everything, don't worry about it. All Galvins involved were happy you were there.

Optimism, I like it. I'll borrow some of that, if you don't mind.

I know you're here, but if I don't write this down, I'll forget. Henry got Eileen a trip to their New York City, complete with airline tickets and broadway shows and a suite in a nice hotel and everything. He didn't know everyone else was going to send them trips. He also got her this necklace, although he's very self-conscious about it, and not sure if maybe he should've picked it or not.

Also, he would've gone with her to mass, if allowed, just to give her some support. Soooo, if that's something you want to scene out sometime? Lemmee know. :D

We are on the internets! :O haha, life sucks for Dexter.
Eileen would be especially hilariously excited about the airline tickets part, but reluctant to explain why if pressed. And, natch, she'd take steps to reassure him that she likes the necklace, though when she picks up on the self-consciousness, she'd probably cease those attempts, thinking she's just putting him more on the spot.

She'dve seemed iffy about him coming along, but wouldn't say no. We could indeed scene that if you want! I just need to look up what happens in a Mass. XD

Hey, Eileen. Hope you had a nice Christmas and everything. I know you're probably already got something planned, but if not....would you like to come over for New Year's Eve? Just thought we'd watch the ball drop, maybe play some board games...you know, stuff like that. I'm trying to cook again, so that might be interesting, at least.

Thanks so much for all your advice, by the way. Christmas dinner came out great.

If you don't mind me being a little late, yeah, that would be nice. I told some friends I'd drop in at their thing, but I could be at your place by 10:30, 11, something in that timeframe?

You're welcome, I'm glad to hear it!

Thanks for the CD, Eileen. I've never heard of this band before in my life, but they're all right.

Happy to please. And thanks so much for your present! That is... wow. Henry says thank you, too. You, ma'am, are fantastic.

How's life been treating you?

[perfectly deadpan] I didn't know you guys liked books so much.

I'm still here. Everything past that is pretty negotiable. It's good, though... I like Christmastime.

For the record, I'm really glad that we're having this conversation only after my uncle gifted us a couple.

Me too, in spite of the horrible things the season does to the radio airwaves. I wish you a good '07, in any case.
