I am mostly not reading anything but magazines.  Becoming very picky.  Karen suggested I should read Patricia Briggs or Sherilyn Kenyon next, but I am looking at the first 4 Sookie Stackhouse novels in a stack on my kitchen table, so that is most likely where I'll go

..I ripped thru the first 7 books in a week...they were fun.

It's an interesting world the author creates..have to see if I can find friends who have Book 8 & 9 now...

The Sherilyn Kenyon Dark Hunter books start out as little more than supernatural porn. Lots of sex, a bit of plot and a bit of building her mythos. As she developed a fan base she also developed better storylines and plots not completely driven by sex scenes. They are a guilty pleasure of mine. I'd lend them to you but I borrowed them from Tracy. I actually leant the first few to your husband at one point and he never gave them back so they might even be in your house somewhere.
