Awesome book on writing (poetry. 'correctly'.) = Ode Less Travelled by Stephen Fry. I loved it. It has me writing everyday, just not on here! And using more of my 'words'. Win-win!

And the book I would recommend for improving writing, although it deals solely with poetry, is "The Ode Less Travelled" by Stephen Fry. It's very well-written and its really a fun way to practice writing words and expanding your (working) vocabulary. Lots of people know lots of words, but seldom use anywhere close to their full range on a regular basis. (I'd also recommend any of his books, or Hugh Laurie's book, "The Gun Seller".)

If only I didn't hate poetry. Haha! I have found an interesting mentor in my current English Prof, he has this book out that pretty much is awesome and has alot of good shit in it, and there are excerpts online: Sin Boldy!
